As brides look for colorful wedding dresses, they're going beyond shades of champagne and blush to find the perfect shade to complement their wedding day. Shades of purple have been growing in popularity among our HCC Brides, and we're sharing our favorite purple wedding gowns to inspire you!
Nelda's Vintage-inspired Ivory and Purple Lace Wedding Dress
PA bride Nelda found elements of her dream dress online, but she struggled to find a shop that carried it in her unique style. As a plus-size bride, she worried about finding her dream dress - until she stumbled across Hannah Caroline Couture!
We took her inspiration photos and created a gorgeous design that combined everything into one dress: a chantilly lace bodice with a lace belt and floral lace appliques blending from the waist into the ivory and purple tulle skirt. She was stunning against the forest backdrop of her wedding photos!
Mariah's Bridal Jumpsuit with Purple Tulle Train
How stunning does Mariah look in her 2 in 1 wedding look? Mariah combined our Sandy Jumpsuit with the lace sleeves of our Fallon Gown to create the bridal jumpsuit base of her wedding day look. Then, we layered shades of fuchsia, purple, and teal tulle in cascading ruffles to create a 2-in-1 detachable train to complete her look!
Amanda's Purple Rainbow Glitter Dress
A friend of the designer, bride Amanda B. wanted to look like a rainbow fairy princess, and we delivered!
For her gown, we chose a high-low silhouette with puffy sleeves and delicate ruching throughout the top and waist.
We found the perfect cool-toned rainbow tulle and added a layer of glitter tulle for that overall sparkle. Lastly, we added horsehair braid to the edges of the layers to add some volume. The whole gown was lined in a gorgeous lilac color, and we even made her groom a matching vest and bow tie!
Torrie's Black and Purple Tulle Wedding Dress
Nebraska bride Torrie customized our Barbera Gown with Beaded Tulle Skirt, adding detachable off-the-shoulder lace sleeves and mixing black and purple tulle for her skirt. Her beaded tulle skirt was detachable, so she could remove both the sleeves and tulle skirt for her reception!
Angie's Whimsical Fairy-Inspired Green Wedding Dress
Texas bride Angie wanted a green wedding dress with purple accents to complement her magical, medieval-inspired wedding day! We designed a hunter green chiffon wedding dress with green floral lace appliques accented with hundreds of purple rhinestones. The back featured a purple organza ribbon lace-up belt. The look was complete with a set of purple scalemail shoulder epaulets we customized with purple chiffon sleeves that flowed in the wind as she rode a horse down the aisle (!!!).
Molly's Short Purple Lace Wedding Dress
Nebraska bride Molly wanted a fun, short wedding dress perfect for dancing! We mixed dusty blue lace with shades of purple satin and tulle to create a dress that showcased her unique and bubbly personality!
