As non-traditional wedding gowns are growing in popularity, brides are no longer limiting themselves to muted shades of blush, gray, and champagne when they say they want color. At Hannah Caroline Couture, we've experienced our brides stepping outside the bridal box even further, and we love to see it!
One color that has exploded popularity among our brides is green! From subtle pops of green, to green leafy lace, to jewel-toned hunter green throughout the whole gown, brides are getting more and more bold with their wedding dress design choices.

Jerrica's Green Tulle Wedding Gown
Texas bride Jerrica came to Hannah Caroline Couture after having a less-than-stellar experience with another designer, and we are so happy that our paths crossed.
We designed a hunter green soft tulle ball gown with a ruched sweetheart bodice (inspired by our Jessica Gown), detachable bishop sleeves, a daring slit, and a detachable sequin train for her moody winter wedding.
Jessica's Green and Black Halloween Wedding Gown
Oklahoma bride Jessica chose to travel to our studio in Omaha, NE to try on our collection of customizable wedding gowns, and we're obsessed with the design we came up with for her Halloween wedding!
We combined a sequin spiderweb lace material with hand-sewn black lace appliques and a cascading black and green tulle skirt hemmed in horsehair braid for extra volume.
Lisa's Vintage-Inspired 2-in-1 Wedding Gown
The end result was an off-the-shoulder gown covered in ivory, peach, and sage green floral lace appliques that were individually cut from a lace fabric and layered throughout the bodice and fading into the skirt. The gown had flowy soft tulle bishop sleeves with lace appliqued cuffs and pearl buttons, a romantic lace-up corset back, and the skirt had layers of soft tulle in shades of ivory, layered with the colorful lace fabric and additional lace appliques to give the gown a whimsical, dimensional feel. Lastly, the appliques were blended into mom's detachable train at the waist and intermingled with the existing lace and ruffles for a look that exuded romantic garden wedding vibes!

Angie's Whimsical Fairy-Inspired Wedding Dress
Texas bride Angie wanted a green wedding dress with purple accents to complement her magical, medieval-inspired wedding day! We designed a hunter green chiffon wedding dress with green floral lace appliques accented with purple rhinestones. The back featured an organza ribbon lace-up belt. The look was complete with a set of purple scalemail shoulder epaulets we customized with purple chiffon sleeves that flowed in the wind as she rode a horse down the aisle (!!!).

Maddie's Green Tulle Tea-length 2-in-1 Wedding Dress

Local bride Maddie wanted a custom green and gold wedding dress set to complement her fiance's outfit. Her dress features a bustier-style bodice accented with gold lace, a twirly ultra-glitter knee length skirt, detachable glitter swag sleeves, and a detachable tea-length tulle skirt lined with gold satin.
As a bonus, we incorporated lace appliques from her mother's wedding dress, painted gold to match the look!
Arielle's Green and Purple Enchanted Forest Wedding Gown
Bride Arielle wanted to look like she was emerging from an enchanted forest in her gown, and I think we achieved that! Her ivory tulle gown was accented with tons of hand-sewn lace appliques, combining four lace styles - viny green lace, ivory and green floral lace, beaded purple lace, and small purple thistles to match her bouquet - for a whimsical, dramatic look.
We completed the look with a detachable green cape with more lace, as well as lace sandals and a custom garter.
Maria's Pinup-Inspired Polka Dot Dress
Nebraska bride Maria wanted to tie the knot in a short, vintage-inspired dress that complemented her sweet, bubbly personality! We customized our Linda Dress with pockets, 3/4-length sleeves, a fun pop of green in the crinoline underneath, and we mixed two polka dot lace fabrics for an eclectic vibe that perfectly complemented her wedding and personality.
