The Barbera Gown with Beaded Tulle Skirt is a modern take on a beaded lace and tulle ball gown.

This detailed gown features:

  • Sweetheart neckline with intricate, hand-sewn beaded appliques lined with matte satin and supportive boning
  • Gathered a-line tulle skirt made from 2 layers of tulle, lined with a circle-cut matte satin skirt hemmed with stiffening horsehair braid for added volume
  • Center back zipper closure or optional corset back

Sizing & measurements

All Hannah Caroline Couture garments are made to your measurements and preferences. We have no standard size chart, and we offer free custom sizing always. All sizes and measurements are welcome. After your order is placed, the designer will email you with a link to schedule a free 15-minute video call to take the specific measurements we'll need. These video calls help to ensure sizing accuracy, minimize your alterations costs, and give you a chance to meet + chat with the person who will be making your dress. While custom sizing drastically reduces your alterations costs, some alterations may still be necessary.

Production time

All Hannah Caroline Couture garments are made to order. We offer 3 production timelines to choose from for our semi-custom garments.

  • Standard: ships within 6 months of order date*
  • Rush: ships within 4 months of order date*
  • Extra rush: ships within 2 months of order date*

*Measurements call must be scheduled for a date within 14 days of purchase to ensure these timelines. We reserve the right to extend the timeline if the measurements call is scheduled later than this. Production time does not include shipping time; see Shipping section for more information.

Every Hannah Caroline Couture garment includes:

  • Framed artistic sketch of your custom garment
  • Hand-written thank you note from the designer
  • “I Said Yes to the Custom Dress” sign for photo ops and revealing your dress to family + friends
  • Free sketch preview of your customizations before you order, upon request (request it here)
  • Free 15-minute video call with the designer to take accurate body measurements + ask questions about the design process (link to schedule will be emailed after your order is placed)

Free preview sketch

Before placing your order, contact us here to request a free colored sketch to help you preview your customizations. Please include all relevant selections, colors, sleeve options, etc. You may also request additional customizations such as raising/lowering the neckline, different sleeves, longer train, adding a slit, etc. We will email you your free preview sketch within 5 business days. If you are deciding between multiple designs, you may request a free preview sketch for up to 3 total styles.

We understand that ordering your wedding dress online is a non-traditional approach. You deserve to know who is making your dress, and we’re here to answer all your questions and address any concerns you may have. More customization

We welcome many customizations beyond what is offered on our online store. To inquire about whether certain customizations are compatible with your selected design, contact us via our Advanced Customization contact form here.

Swatches & color matching

Color matching: The materials for all customizable designs are carefully selected from a very limited number of suppliers and the materials are chosen with color matching in mind. We have already verified that our fabric choices complement each other and we won't let anything leave our studio that doesn't look quite right. If we have any questions or concerns about the colors involved in your design, we will reach out to confirm and/or discuss your fabric options.

Swatches: We are happy to send you a swatch of the fabric(s) you are interested in for a small fee. Please send us an email via our Swatch Request contact form and let us know the product name(s) and fabrics/color(s) you are interested in seeing, plus your complete street address. We will mail the swatches to you for a small fee (to cover the costs of swatches + postage). Please note that it may take a few weeks to receive your swatches, as we order fabric as it is needed and thus do not always have swatches already on hand. When you reach out with your request, we will be as transparent as possible with you regarding actual shipping times.

Please note: we are unable to send swatches of beaded appliques, rhinestones, or other embellishments, but we can likely provide high-quality close-up photos of them upon request.

Shipping

All Hannah Caroline Couture orders ship free with tracking and insurance via USPS. We ship to all countries where USPS ships; if you are outside the US, confirm whether they deliver to your country here.

  • US orders: please allow up to 10 business days for delivery, excluding production time.
  • International orders: please allow up to 20-30 business days for delivery, excluding production time. The customer is responsible for any taxes, customs, or duties applied by your courier.

We are not responsible for orders that are lost, damaged, or stolen after it leaves our studio. All orders are shipped with insurance of the same value as your order subtotal (excluding taxes, discounts, or other fees), allowing you to submit a claim with USPS allowing you to be reimbursed or order a replacement.

Returns & refunds

Due to the custom-made nature of our products, all orders are final sale. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted, but we will work with you to find a suitable solution. Contact us via our General Inquiries contact form to inform us of any issues with your order.

Care instructions

All gowns and accessories are dry-clean only. Use only steam to eliminate wrinkles; do not use an iron on any materials involved (they can melt under the heat). Consult a local dry cleaning professional for spot cleaning, dry cleaning, or garment preservation services.
