How long will it take to receive my order?

All Clearance / Sample Sale items will be shipped within one to three business days. All Made-to-Order/customizable items may take up to 6 to 8 weeks to produce and ship, but will likely be shipped out within 3 weeks (not including shipping time). Custom wedding gowns (items purchased from any Bridal collection) may take up to 4 months to be produced and we will contact you regarding your wedding date once the order is received, but it will likely be less than 2 months unless demand is crazy!

Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between one and two weeks. We'll send you an e-mail if times are expected to be longer.

How do I order customizable pieces?

The made-to-order portion of our shop lets you customize our styles to be what you need - you enter your measurements, color(s), and other features. This allows you to customize the pieces to be exactly as you like it, made to your exact body's measurements. Simply use the drop down menus and a little bit of imagination to visualize finished product, and we will make your piece as soon as we receive the order. If you would like a descriptive sketch of the item before you order, please send us an email with the product name and the options you are looking to choose. If you would like a descriptive sketch after you have submitted an order but before it is produced, please email us within 24 hours of submitting the order.

The process of creating your perfect garment may take up to 6 to 8 weeks, but we know you'll love your custom pieces! If you don't quite see what you want in our custom options, simply fill out our contact form (recommended) or e-mail us at and we'll bring your ideal garment to life. Just be sure to include your size, budget, color(s), event date, and any other information or photos pertaining to your request!

How do I know what my customized piece(s) will look like?

We will get a sketch to you within 3 business days of receiving your request.

How do I know that my fabric colors will match each other?

The materials for all made-to-order garments are carefully selected from a very limited number of suppliers and the materials are chosen with color matching in mind. We have already verified that our fabric choices go well with each other (for example, a burgundy satin dress with a burgundy chiffon and/or tulle overlay and burgundy appliques will all go together and be very similar, if not exactly the same, in shade). The bottom line is, we won't let anything leave our studio that doesn't look quite right. If we have any questions or concerns about the colors involved in your design, we will reach out to confirm and/or discuss your fabric options.

How can I see the fabric involved in my customizable design before I order?

We are happy to send you a swatch of the fabric(s) you are interested in. Please send us an email via our contact form and let us know the product name(s) and fabrics/color(s) you are interested in seeing, plus your complete street address. We will mail the swatches to you free of charge. It may take up to 2 weeks for you to receive the swatches, as we order fabric as it is needed and thus do not always have swatches already on-hand. We will be as transparent as possible with you regarding actual shipping times.

Please note: we are unable to send swatches of beaded appliques, rhinestones, or other embellishments, but we can provide high-quality close-up photos of them upon request. When selecting beaded appliques, they do match the corresponding fabric involved in the creation of that garment, so if you are trying to make sure the colors match, they do! :)

Are custom orders available?

Where is this online store based?

We are based in Omaha, Nebraska in our quaint little home studio. If you are local, feel free to reach out to us - we can provide additional consultations and tailoring services (on products produced by Hannah Caroline Couture) if we can meet in-person.

Do you accept orders placed from outside of the United States/international orders?

We do! As long as the United States Postal Service ships to your country, we will gladly accept your order.

How much is shipping?

Hannah Caroline Couture ships via USPS. Domestic shipping is a flat rate of $10 on orders under $75 and FREE on orders over $75. International shipping (to countries serviced by USPS) is a flat rate of $20.

Can I buy Hannah Caroline Couture items anywhere besides this site?

What is the return/exchange policy at Hannah Caroline Couture?

Due to the custom nature of these products, there are no returns or exchanges at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and we are happy to recommend small tailoring adjustments that can be made at your local tailor if you reach out to us with your concerns.

We can also do some tailoring services on products produced by Hannah Caroline Couture if you are local to or are willing to travel to the Omaha, Nebraska area.  

How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

The checkout process is powered by both Shopify Payments and PayPal, two of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, we have all the same securities and payment fraud protection as these leading payment processors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order. Our site also uses an SSL certificate, meaning your sensitive data (like credit card information) is encrypted and secure.

Do you offer local tailoring or alteration services?

We do not offer tailoring or alterations services on any garments that are not made by Hannah Caroline Couture. We are highly focused on providing an amazing custom design service to our customers, and we leave the standard alterations and tailoring services to the many local tailoring shops in any given city.
